nmap Portscan, amap Service-Scan
Mit nmap kann man IPs und Netze nach offenen Services scannen.
amap kann den Fingerprint der Dienste analysieren
Beispiel:
root@nb:/etc# amap google.de 80 amap v5.2 (www.thc.org/thc-amap) started at 2008-08-28 14:17:28 - MAPPING mode Protocol on 66.249.93.104:80/tcp matches http Unidentified ports: none. amap v5.2 finished at 2008-08-28 14:17:37
Diesen Server kennt amap nicht. Wenn man sich aber die Debug-Ausgabe ansieht findet man "Server: GFE".Somit kann man mit relativ wenig Aufwand den Server bestimmen.

- Compiler-Tools installieren
- libcurl-openssl-dev installieren
- ./configure && make && make install im entpackten Source-Verzeichnis
Update der Signaturen:
3 Files ins definierte Config-Verzeichnis laden ( Default: /usr/local/etc/, bei mir /etc )
appdefs.trig appdefs.resp appdefs.rpc
